Boiling Water
Never boil earrings to clean them!!!!!!!
Taking Care Of Earrings
Use rubbing alcohol or other disinfectants to clean earrings each time before you wear them. Take them off before going to sleep. This prevents damage to either you or your earrings!
Cleaning Earrings
The safest technique for most earrings is to rinse them in a solution of soapy warm water. Scrub with a very soft brush (if needed). Rinse with warm water and lay the earrings out to dry on a towel.
Opals, Emeralds & Pearls
Never clean opals, emeralds or pearls in ultrasonic cleaners or with most jewelry cleaners.
Silver Earrings
Sterling Silver becomes tarnished when exposed to humidity. When you're not wearing your earrings, store them in a moisture absorbing cloth. We have found cotton to be the best.
How To Wear Ear Pins
The Earpins go on in a unique way. For PIERCED EARS, Slide the SMALL wire into front of the ear lobe through the pierced hole and slide towards back of ear, like ordinary french wire earrings and then flip them up and slide them into your ear like a bobbi pin. For NON-PIERCED EARS, slide them onto the lobe like a bobbi pin... they look pierced!!

Insert the Earcuff onto the thin edge of the ear, towards the top, and slide down till it fits comfortably over the cartilage. You can squeeze it slightly or open it slightly to fit securely. Once you adjust it to your ear, DO NOT open and close it to put it on and take it off. Simply slide it on or off the thinnest part of your ear.
How To Wear Ear Wraps
Insert the Wrap onto the outer ear, towards the top, and slide down till it fits comfortably over the cartilage. You can squeeze it slightly or open it slightly to fit securely. You can also shape the bottom of the Wrap to lie against your ear. Once you adjust it to your ear, DO NOT open and close it to put it on and take it off. Simply slide it on or off the thinnest part of your ear.

Home Remedy For Cleaning Silver
To brighten silver jewelry, dilute equal parts of concentrated lemon juice and hot (not boiling) water. Let jewelry sit in solution approximately 15 minutes. Rinse in warm water then polish clean.
